Spring into creativity at the fifth Girl Scout Art Creative Series workshop at Vida Art Studio!This April, Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to learn the basics of embroidery and hand stitching in this workshop designed just for Girl Scouts! In this hands-on class, girls will learn how to design and stitch an embroidered wall hanging using foundational stitches and an embroidery hoop. Daisies and younger Brownies will use plastic needs and burlap to create their project, while older girls will be challenged by using metal needles and finer materials. Great opportunity to learn the basics of hand sewing!
No prior art experience needed—just come ready to create and have fun! All materials provided. Girls will leave with a fun patch and their embroidery project!
Watch for more classes in the Girl Scout Creative Series – they will be hosted monthly December through April!
Registration for this event is $25 per girl and closes on April 8th. After March 28th, your program registration is non-refundable.
