Girl Power Sacramento; Spring Break Camp

Players will be introduced to the phases of the game through different stations. The phases include; Attacking, Defending, Transition to Attack, and Transition to defender. Each day a new principle will be introduced with the specific player actions to successfully complete the phase of the game and the location within the field that the principles are used. Each player will rotate through 4 stations with different player actions to exemplify the principle being discussed. The stations will include exercises such as, not limited to; 1v1s, passing patterns, rondos, to help practice the mechanics and tactical

Confidence And Self Love

Every session will end in an affirmation focused rotation. Players will learn words to describe their strength and find the confidence to articulate them. Confidence building is a key element of Girl Power. During these moments, players will be able to identify themselves as more than soccer players and their overall strengths as young women within a program and as individuals. Every session will end with a group affirmation to instill a sense of unity and strengths as a group
