Gippsland Symphony Orchestra: String Symphony Holiday Workshop

Welcome to the String Symphony event!

Children ages 6-12 years are invited to join Gippsland Symphony Orchestra on Fri, Apr 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Paul's Anglican Church in Warragul for the opportunity to learn a stringed instrument.

Beginners: 10am-12:30 (No experience necessary)

Intermediate: 10am-3pm (AMEB Prelim-Grade 2 and able to read music)

We also have a special guest workshop host, Liz Bromwich who is head of lower strings at Wesley College, Glen Waverly-yes! A cello expert! Liz also has a wealth of experience conducting and working with string orchestras in schools and community groups around Australia!

The day will end with a short concert at 3pm to present our work to parents and friends. Venue TBA (subject to numbers!)
