From humble beginnings practicing in a warehouse full of carpets to also still quite humble shows at many a bar and musical event across southern Connecticut, Pops and the Family Jewels is an old school blues/rock group who strives to put some of the fun back into live music. Our band leader and wise sensei, the titular Pops Antignani, brought together his sons and grandsons (and honorary Antignani, Henry Kornstedt) in spring 2024 to form our esteemed group of weirder-than-normal musicians. With plans for original music on the horizon, our hearts are set on taking over the Connecticut music scene one questionably sober audience at a time.

Flowers From Tea is the collaborative project of singer-songwriter Tea Powell and cellist Christina Bustamante. Their music aims to connect deeply with listeners, exploring themes of mental health, platonic love, and the complexities of romance. Tea’s heartfelt lyrics create a space for vulnerability, while Christina’s cello adds rich, emotive layers, resulting in an intimate and captivating listening experience.
