Create 6 fun & super cute gingerbread-themed cupcakes, using a range of clever techniques, a central plaque and arrange as a mini platter.We will bake you 6 cupcakes which you will then decorate with a range of gingerbread-themed designs . We will explain each stage step by step - so whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced cake decorator looking for new ideas you will go home inspired and delighted. The skills learnt are suitable not only for cupcakes but also cookies and celebration cakes.
How to:
- use moulds to create a selection of gingerbread themed decorations, holly, berries & Christmas trees
- use 'Pop-it' moulds
- use multi colours in moulds
- paint on moulded decorations
- use royal icing to enhance decorations
- use stencils
- use texture mats
- use lustre colours
- create a twisted candy cane from sugarpaste
- use a selection of modelling tools.
- create a flat cupcake topper
- fill a piping bag (without getting in a mess!)
- pipe a rose swirl
- freeze your cupcakes if you wish to keep them for Christmas, plus:
- transportation, storage, advance preparation, time management and other cake practicalities.
