Rules:
Gingerbread structure MUST be completely edible
Gingerbread houses MUST be delivered on a board/sturdy base not to exceed 24" x 24"
Non-edible accessories CAN be used for decorating the board/base of the Gingerbread house
Gingerbread houses may replicate a house, church, business, etc.
Gingerbread houses will be judged on:
Originality
Neatness
Creativity
Use of material
Effort
*Age groups being judged: 10 and under, 11 – 15, and 16 and up. Gingerbread houses will be on display at Flushing Insurance during Candlewalk.
The Candlewalk Committee and participating businesses cannot be held responsible for any damages done to your Gingerbread House while on display. Gingerbread Houses NOT picked up by 4:30 pm on December 14th will be discarded.
