Gingerbread House Competition & Winter Celebration

Get ready for our second annual Gingerbread House Competition—bigger, sweeter, and even more magical than last year! Gather your family, friends, or teen team and join us for a festive night filled with creativity, holiday wonder, live performances, and winter-themed fun.

Your registration includes:

• Entry into the Gingerbread House Building Competition
• Guaranteed table space (½ table for families of 4, full table for 5–8)
• Admission to the Winter Celebration
• Access to food trucks, Santa, photo booths, face painting, cocoa station, and live music & dance performances
  Eligibility for prizes in:
• Best Overall
• Most Artistic
• Most Scientific
• Most Musical
• Most Dance-Themed

Everyone takes home their gingerbread masterpiece and holiday memories!

• $45 for a family/team of up to 4
• $5 per additional participant
  (Example: family of 6 = $55)
• Children under 3 are free (don’t need a ticket)
• You must bring your own supplies, and may bring whatever edible supplies you want to use
• Optional: Pre-purchase your gingerbread kit OR a Decorating Treat Bag

Maximum team size: 10 participants (by request)

• Ages 3+
• Adult required for groups with kids 12 and under
• Teen teams (ages 13+) allowed without an adult as long as they follow all directions
• Disqualification may occur for unsafe or disruptive behavior
• Walk-ins welcome, but pre-registration guarantees your spot and table

4:00–4:30 PM – Check-in & Table Setup
Families can unpack supplies and set up their competition space(but no building yet).

4:30–6:00 PM – Gingerbread Competition
Late arrivals forfeit building time.

6:00–7:00 PM – Judging + Winter Celebration
Stroll to Kailua Dance Academy for performances, snacks, and festive activities.

Around 7:00 PM – Winners Announced
7:30-8:00 PM – Event Ends

• All structures must be assembled on-site. PRE BUILT STRUCTURES ARE NOT ALLOWED
• Creativity highly encouraged—scientific, musical, artistic, and dance-inspired themes welcome! Our judges will be prominent leaders in each suggested field
