Gin-uary Hobart Gin Festival is Hobart's original and best Tasmanian Gin Festival. Gin-uary Hobart Gin Festival was created to celebrate Tasmania’s amazing spirits industry. Tassie is known for its high quality and locally made produce – especially our world class spirits! Tasmania is the birthplace of modern day distilling and, now in its eighth year, Gin-uary has become an important annual event for the Tasmanian spirits industry.

Gin-uary is all about having fun! Learning about what makes each spirit unique, sampling the wares and enjoying the experience with mates. There will be a delicious variety of food vendors at the event as well as the Gin-uary bar slinging cocktails and Gin-uary G&T’s.

For those who are tagging along and may not like gin (shhhh, we won’t tell anyone) we’ve got you covered too - unlike the other festivals, we have a huge range of drinks to try!

Conditions of entry

You must be over 18 years of age to enter.

Unfortunately, children, babies and fur babies cannot attend this event.

Intoxicated individuals will not be permitted.

Refunds and Exchanges

Gin-uary has a 30 day cancellation policy and refunds cannot be offered for 'change of mind' cancellations after this point. Given Covid-19 circumstances we are however happy to offer transfers and name changes if you would like to attend a different session or if you would like family or friends to attend in your place.

When purchasing tickets to Gin-uary, you must select a drop down box confirming that if Gin-uary is cancelled due to Government Directions, you will not be entitled to a refund, you will receive a ticket to a rescheduled event.

If you are seriously ill or suffer a tragedy that means you are not able to attend Gin-uary we may require evidence to support your refund request.
