Gilt Mirror Workshop
Transform an everyday mirror into a luminous, heirloom-style piece in this elevated decorative arts workshop!
Guided step-by-step, you’ll master leafing while creating a gilt-inspired mirror designed to bring warmth, texture, and understated glamour to your home. We’ll have a beautiful range of metal leaf available—including various golds, copper, silver, and champagne as well as additional finish elements, allowing you to create depth and customize your piece to suit your personal aesthetic. We’ll then seal your projects for added protection.
This class is perfect for those who appreciate fine detail, timeless finishes, and the satisfaction of crafting a one-of-a-kind object. You’ll leave with a finished mirror that feels both classic and contemporary, and a new skill you can continue to explore.
Participants will need to bring their own mirror that they can easily carry themselves; approximately 24” x 36” or smaller in size. All other workshop materials will be provided.
