We are returning to this iconic and downright odd Salt Lake sculpture garden at the request of a visiting urban sketcher, who will be joining us from Olympia, Washington.
Gilgal Sculpture Garden is definitely unique in this world. If you haven't yet seen it, you really must. Besides the artwork, there are lovely landscaped gardens to sit in and sketch, and there are always a few people walking through.
Parking is on the street on 500 S. The entrance can be hard to see as it's tucked between two homes on a residential block. Bring something to sit on to get the best viewpoints as seating options are limited.
