Gilded Raqs, The Belly Dance Guild's golden annual dance festival, returns for TWO DAYS of world-class festival dancing, live music, workshops, interviews, shopping, and more!
GR 2026 will be September 12 and 13 at the Scottish Rite in San Jose. This space has a beautiful, deep professional stage; a secondary stage for more intimate performances; lots of room for both audience members and vendors; roomy professional dressing rooms, and easy free parking.
Golden Workshops will be 90-minutes long to really dig into the topic, and Glimmer Workshops - taught by Guild Members - will be 45-minute tastes of various subjects.
As always, Members of The Belly Dance Guild will get discount pricing on Festival Admission, Performer Admission, and Workshops.
Festival dancing all day (noon-7pm on Saturday, noon to 6pm on Sunday) to live and recorded music, on two stages!
