Join us at the Huhugam Heritage Center located on the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC)as we discuss the Japanese American incarceration camps located within Community lands. Learn from Japanese American incarceration camp survivors, their descendants and members of GRIC about intertwined history and shared experience of displacement, resttlement and forced assimilation. Lectures will include topics regarding theimportance of baseball and Gila River Camp archaeology.
