About the Programme/Event
Note: This is a 4-session workshop (9, 16, 23 & 30 Jul). You are expected to join all 4 sessions. A certificate of attendance will be awarded at the end of the workshop.
With Singapore’s ageing population, more people will likely find themselves caring for an elderly loved and striving to provide dedicated care at home. Unfortunately, some caregivers may realise that they are not adequately prepared for the responsibilities of caregiving, or face difficulty in coping with them.
At this workshop, you will be equipped with the skills to:
1. Understand your motivations, and learn the meaning of care and your roles in caregiving;
2. Develop acceptance of your strengths and weaknesses in caregiving and learn to see caregiving as a personal development;
3. Be equipped with skills to manage challenging situations; and
4. Be empowered to honour self-care and takes charge of your well-being.
Get yourself prepared, sign up now!
This programme is organised by the National Library Board in collaboration with Tsao Foundation.
