This event is put on by the District 8 (St. Louis area) chapter of the Gifted Association of Missouri. You do not need to be a member in order to come to this event; the only requirement is that you care about gifted students.
Play board games with other local gifted educators & parents! Meet local gifted advocates while sharing our favorite board games to play with gifted kids.
Pieces is a board game bar. Their board game library contains 800+ board games, so this is the perfect time to learn a new board game for your classroom or home! Pieces has generously agreed to waive the $5 board game library fee for our group!
Pieces has a a full restaurant with tasty cuisine and a full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic selections. They have great happy hour food & drink specials from 4-6pm. The happy hour food & drinks can all be found on their drink menu here: https://www.stlpieces.com/drink
Pieces is surrounded by metered parking. The City of St. Louis meters until 7pm on the street. There is a large 24-hour parking lot across the street from Pieces. This lot is run by the City and costs $1 per hour. The lot meters past 7pm. There is free street parking on S. 9th Street and Lafayette Avenue (three blocks from our location).
