Gift Making: Cheese Slicer Board

Ages 14 to 17 requires a parent or guardian present during the class. Looking for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift? Why not give the “Gift of Experience”? Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! While making this classic woodworking gift you'll learn some basic fundamentals like how to safely use the planer, table saw, miter saw, drill press, and router. You'll even learn some common sanding and finishing techniques. All students will get to take home their own cheese slicer board and leave with the knowledge needed to take on advanced projects. This makes a great gift for the holidays! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
