Gie’s Peace is a one woman show about women’s activism for peace

Following 5 star sell-out shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023 and 2024 and widespread audience acclaim at Prague Fringe 2022, and Adelaide Fringe 2024, Gie’s Peace comes to Aberdeen
with this captivating tribute to remarkable women who have rebelled against war.
With Gie’s Peace Morna Burdon combines inspirational storytelling with evocative songs of protest, to create a moving and timely tribute to the struggle for peace. Threaded through with first person accounts and punctuated with humour, this show also looks at how war affects those the women love.
Morna comments “In a world where war can sometimes seem to be everywhere, Gie’s Peace is about brave women who refused to give up on peace and hope. Having played to audiences from Romania to Estonia, from Ukraine to Russia, from the U.S.A to Australia and to have had this show resonate so strongly with their lives and experiences, it is an honour to be invited to perform for It is an honour to perform for CND North-East Scotland
