Giba Gorge - 4 Waterfall Adventure
Embark on an adventure-filled hike through the lush and scenic Giba Gorge.
This easy 8km trail is packed with natural beauty, perfect for beginners, families, and nature lovers.
What to Expect:
Giba Falls – a true hidden gem
The breathtaking main waterfall
Giba Ruins and Skeleton Trail
The secret '3rd waterfall' (if accessible)
The hidden rock shelter (if accessible)
Cascades and shady forest paths
Optional coffee stop at Café Umfula
Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Time: 7am sharp
Place: Giba Gorge MTB Park
Look out for our bright orange banner at the entrance
Distance: Approximately 9km round trip
Duration: Around 3-4 hours (depending on group pace)
The event will continue in light rain. Only extreme weather (heavy storms, hail, or intense heat) will lead to cancellation.
Pricing:
Adults: R149 per person
Kids: R99 per child (U13)
Entry Fee: R50 per person (paid at the gate – not included in the ticket)

Grading of Hikes
Grade 1: Easy – minimal fitness required
Grade 2: Moderate – not too strenuous
Grade 3: Moderate – some fitness recommended
Grade 4: Strenuous – good fitness essential
Grade 5: Very strenuous – high fitness level required (we’re not going that far!)
