Ghost Walk Tours at Memento Mori Cemetery
About this Event
As the October light fades over Farmington, the past begins to stir.
Join Stanley-Whitman House for an evening of history, mystery, and remembrance during our annual Ghost Walk Tours at Memento Mori Cemetery.
Now in its twenty-sixth year, this beloved living-history program invites you to walk among the town’s earliest residents as they return to tell their stories. By lantern light, you’ll encounter colonial and Revolutionary War-era voices—of faith and defiance, of love and loss—each drawn from the real history of Farmington’s 17th- and 18th-century community.
Memento Mori, Latin for “Remember that you die,” has been the resting place of generations since the 1600s. Here, interpreters bring its stories to life in one of Connecticut’s most evocative historic settings.
