Due to much demand....a 2nd night for the Ghost Stories has been added.
Join us for a Halloween evening of Ghost Stories and History here at Dode with Doug on Sunday 20th October from 7pm.
'I’m a curious sort of person (in both senses of the word) & am lucky enough to have spent much of my working life in ancient buildings.
Buildings almost always outlive their occupiers, some by a very large margin, & as each generation passes they absorb their personalities, their spirits if you will.
Mostly benign, often welcoming and occasionally troubled, buildings store recollections & acquire ‘moods’ which in turn ‘reinfect’ those of us who live in or visit them.
This is the story of a number of places that I have known over the years including of course Dode.
