March marks very special anniversary in the world of Goth music the 40th anniversary of "First and Last and Always", the iconic debut album by The Sisters of Mercy, is a monumental milestone in gothic music history. Released in 1985, this album not only defined the Goth genre but also influenced countless bands and fans across the globe with its haunting atmosphere, melancholic lyrics, and Eldritch’s Vox. The album features the 3 classic singles Walkaway, No Time to Cry and Black Planet and yet such is greatness of the album all the tracks became favourites in Goth clubs across the globe especially Marian. First and Last and Always, and Amphetamine Logic. Leeds was the birthplace of Goth, the city was black, the facades old buildings were blackened by years of pollution. The Sisters inspired the look, sound, and ethos of the gothic subculture, from black clothes, hats, sunglasses and paisley shirts which their growing fan base emulated. This gothic look swept the land with the majority of alternative bands adopting the black aesthetic. Needless to say Ghost Rider will celebrating this black anniversary by featuring the full album in the mix.

W marcu przypada wyjątkowa rocznica w świecie muzyki gotyckiej. 40. rocznica wydania „First and Last and Always”, kultowego debiutanckiego albumu The Sisters of Mercy, jest monumentalnym kamieniem milowym w historii muzyki gotyckiej. Wydany w 1985 roku album nie tylko zdefiniował gatunek gotycki, ale także wywarł wpływ na niezliczone zespoły i fanów na całym świecie dzięki swojej zapadającej w pamięć atmosferze, melancholijnym tekstom i Eldritch’s Vox. Album zawiera 3 klasyczne single Walkaway, No Time to Cry i Black Planet, a mimo to album jest tak wspaniały, że wszystkie utwory stały się ulubionymi w klubach gotyckich na całym świecie, zwłaszcza Marian. Pierwszy i ostatni, i zawsze oraz Logika amfetaminy. Leeds było kolebką gotyku, miasto było czarne, fasady starych budynków poczerniałe od lat zanieczyszczeń. Siostry zainspirowały wygląd, brzmienie i etos subkultury gotyckiej, począwszy od czarnych ubrań, kapeluszy, okularów przeciwsłonecznych i koszul w stylu paisley, które naśladowały ich rosnąca baza fanów. Ten gotycki wygląd ogarnął całą krainę, a większość alternatywnych zespołów przyjęła czarną estetykę. Nie trzeba dodawać, że Ghost Rider będzie uczcić tę czarną rocznicę, włączając cały album do miksu.
