Brookes Paranormal are extremely excited to announce that we are hosting a Ghost Hunt at the incredible 1620s House located in Donington le Heath, Leicestershire later this year. We're super delighted to welcome this brand new historic venue to our events collection, with our first paranormal investigation taking place on Saturday 21st November.
Steeped in over 700 years, from its 13th-century medieval stone origins and Jacobean transformations, to its dramatic ties with Sir Everard Digby and the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, the 1620s House at Donington le Heath stands as one of Leicestershire’s most atmospheric heritage sites. But behind its ancient timber doors and mullioned windows, lies a historic building deeply shadowed by centuries of continuous occupation, tragic turns and deep-rooted Jacobean superstition. This house over several years has become a formidable place of paranormal activity, where ghostly figures are sighted, creepy footsteps echo, disembodied whispers are heard, and poltergeist activity await those brave enough to step into the dark.
Guided by our team of lead investigators, get hands-on with ghost detection equipment, take part in modern and traditional experiments, and utilise your own senses to see, hear and feel the energies of the building, and what spirits you'll connect with. Small group ghost vigils for the best personal experience. Limited tickets allocated for this event. Hot/cold refreshments and light snacks provided.
