Bitton House was home to Viscount Exmouth, one of the great British Admirals. He lived in the house from 1823 to his death in 1833. He was born Edward Pellew and entered the Navy at 13. He was born in 1757, a year before Nelson. He is best remembered for defeating the Dey of Algiers (The Dey was an elected body of civilian, military and pirate leaders)What paranormal experience did we have on our initial investigation of the Haunted Bitton House?
While walking outside the building, they noticed an immense hairy bearded male spirit step back from the right-hand way window on the left-hand side.
A light on the ground floor was dimly lit outside the mayor’s chamber.
The light in the hallway leading to the other chamber room flickers and turns on & off on command.
Footsteps and voices are heard coming from the 1st floor.
Performing experiments, we had members of a previous family make their presence known.
