In this class, you will learn to make it properly, alongside grilled chicken, creamy coleslaw with a sharp salad cream tang, and sweet, caramelised fried plantain.No experience is needed. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a confident home cook, this class offers a welcoming introduction to the bold flavours and techniques of Ghanaian cuisine.
What to expect:

• Build a fragrant tomato base -- learn how to attain the signature fragrant flavour to transform the taste of the finished rice.
• Master your grains -- understand why jasmine rice plays a significant role in Ghanaian jollof rice, learn the perfect rice-to-liquid ratio, and the method that gives you perfectly cooked grains every single time.
• Explore regional variations -- understand what makes Ghanaian jollof different from Nigerian jollof, Sierra Leonean jollof, and Senegalese jollof, and learn tips from across West Africa.
• Complete your meal -- learn how to fry beef, to crispy perfection and complement your meal with a Ghanaian style salad.
