About this Event
Join us for an immersive workshop of Ghanaian drumming, songs, and percussion led by the renowned percussionist, Samuel Nkrumah-Yeboah! As a skilled workshop facilitator, drum maker, and performing artist, Samuel brings the authentic rhythms and melodies of Ghanaian culture to life in this hands-on experience.
Dive into the fundamentals of Ghanaian drumming and percussion as Samuel guides you through traditional rhythms and songs. Throughout the session, Samuel will also treat participants to live performances of some of these captivating pieces.
Samuel will also be bringing a selection of West African instruments and clothing for attendees to purchase on-site.
