March 28th, 2026 5pm-Midnight
Guests should arrive dressed in traditional Ghanaian attire , with decor reflecting the red, gold, and green colors of Ghana’s flag.
The evening will feature live Afrobeats, cultural cuisine, dance performances, and drumming that showcase Ghana’s traditions. Special performances by Ghanaian Association Cultural Group, Abusakese & Ghanaian Cultural Group Canada Dagbon-Gbewwa Tradition and Culture Foundation.
This family friendly party remembers liberation from colonial rule in 1957, and the freedom, justice and liberty of a nation. Making Ghana the first sub-Saharan African Nation to gain independence paving the way for the freedoms of many. Invite your family and friends and share this important part of our history.
