We are very excited to bring back Getting to Better with Stephen de Groot, in collaboration with CMHA Sudbury/Manitoulin. The program will feature both free and paid sessions, with the evening session tailored for educators and parents.
In this inspiring and hopeful session, Stephen de Groot will offer a fresh perspective on supporting youth through these scary times. Drawing on proven tools and strategies, he will empower parents and educators to connect with, guide, and protect youth with confidence. The session is designed to help both youth and the adults who care for them not just cope, but thrive in times of disruption.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Reconnect with what truly matters for the youth in their care
- Understand the impact of unpredictability and disruption on youth
- Gain new perspectives that strengthen resilience, growth, and healthy development
- Apply practical strategies to better connect with, guide, and protect youth
