Summary: In November 2022, OpenAI's ChatGPT revolutionized public access to artificial intelligence, bringing advanced language models to everyday users. Isn’t it time for you to see if this amazing tool can help you with genealogy and other areas? Fred will show you how to get started for free and share some prompts that can save you time while doing your research. See for yourself if an AI chatbot should be added to your toolkit.
Speaker: Fred Voss is a professional genealogist, researcher, and educator. He has been doing personal genealogy for over 30 years and is a Trustee and Education Chair for the Genealogical Society of Bergen County. His areas of interest are Germany, Switzerland, and New Hampshire, with special interest in DNA, Immigration, Naturalization, and Artificial Intelligence.
Mr. Voss is a certificate holder of the Boston University Genealogical Research Certification program (OL13). He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the International Society of Genetic Genealogists as well as various regional societies.
