About this Event

On Opening Night of Climate Week at Penn on Monday, October 5 from 5:30-7pm, join EcoAthletes, the Penn Center for Science, Sustainability and the Media (PCSSM), and Penn Climate for a panel discussion with current and former Penn athletes moderated by Dr. Michael Mann on how athletes can help accelerate a climate comeback by promoting environmental and climate action to millions of sports fans around the world.

About EcoAthletes EcoAthletes is a US-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission to “inspire and coach athletes to lead climate action”. It works to spark a #ClimateComeback by providing its growing global network of 275+ EcoAthletes Champions – pros, Olympians, and college student-athletes – with the tools to advance from climate curious to climate leader.
