Get Writing with Beverley
About this Event
New for this term, Beverley's back to run an afternoon session of Get Writing at The Writers Workshop in Orchard Square for people who can't get to the morning session with Coco.
Every Wednesday there’s a theme and a focus but where you go with it is up to you. No formal instruction, just gentle, playful prompts to bring out your own voice and style in the company of people who love writing and where it takes them.
You can write in whatever genre and for whatever purpose suits you. Expect friendship and solidarity as side effects.
Beverley Ward is the founder of Get Writing and The Writers Workshop. A writer with thirty years' experience of facilitating writing workshops, she's the author of four books and writes in a range of genres. She's missed the playful fun of Get Writing so she's returning for a six-week block this autumn.
