For complete beginners to sewing, spend 30 minutes with me to get to know your sewing machine one-on-one!
This is perfect for those who own a machine but have not yet used it or who need guidance on how to thread the machine and begin sewing
You’ll learn:
parts of the machine
threading your machine
adjusting needle tension
loading the bobbin
knowing your fabric
basic stitches
Make sure to bring:
Your machine with all parts
The power cord to the machine (double-check!)
A spool of thread
extra needles (optional)
A positive attitude & patience for yourself! 🙂
Check beforehand:
That your machine plugs in and turns on
That the side wheel can rotate freely (if not, the machine may be in need of repair)
If your machine is malfunctioning during the lesson, I will teach you how to use it once it is repaired and can refer you to sewing machine repair specialists if needed 🙂
