🏙️Discover your community at the Get to Know Your Municipality event, which is taking place at the Halifax Central Library – Paul O’Regan Hall on September 13th!Organized by the Halifax Immigration Partnership, this is a unique opportunity to meet representatives from over 20 organizations.
Learn firsthand what they do and how they serve HRM residents every day. This event is a great way for newcomers and immigrants to ask direct questions and find important information.
We'll have:
âś… Information sessions with Halifax Regional Centre for Education, Halifax Regional Police, Service Canada, Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, the NS Human Rights Commission and Sport NS.
âś… Fire Prevention Education where firefighters will explain what happens during a fire and how you can prevent it.
âś… Touch-a-Truck. We invite little ones and their families to take a look inside a real fire truck đźš’
