About this Event
Come a long and learn how to develop your physical and mental strength at our women's only weights training sessions. Run by Hackney-based women's organisation, STUK CIC, the sessions will teach or develop your knowledge of weights based exercises and wellness practices together with great people, good music and positive vibes.
Our sessions are run by qualified professional trainers with specialist knowledge in incorporating weightlifting and wellness practices.
Weightlifting: the sessions will teach you how to use a barbell, weight plates and dumbbells for full body strength development, that you can practice independently or on one of our longer courses.
Wellness: this session incorporates wellness interventions, to support you in using sport, fitness and exercises to strengthen your body and mind.
