After the success of our Cape Town Rave Reunion event in October, we're going back to Alaska, Waterloo on 8 February 2025.This time we're featuring a true legend of the UK Hard Dance scene and transporting ourselves back in time to the early 2000s to once again dance to the amazing Ed Real.
Get Reloaded: Cape Town vs London is a celebration of the close link between Cape Town and London. It helped shape our sound in the late 90s and early 2000s with frequent guests from the UK. Ed made several trips out to the Mother City over the years and became a firm favourite with clubbers and local DJs alike. We’ll be remembering some of great events Ed headlined soon. Without a doubt there was also a healthy mix of Saffas and Londoners at Ed's legendary Riot! nights at The End... so we're sure there'll be that spirit too at this event.
Ed needs very little introduction, and his influence in shaping the UK Hard Dance sound can never be overstated. A legend behind the decks and an absolute partygoer favourite. We'll be cracking out the original big tunes from those days as this will be a VINYL ONLY event!
Ed will be supported by an amazing lineup of ex-Cape Town DJs!
We may all have got a little older and wiser, but like us, we're sure you still love and miss those days of amazing tunes, lifelong friends made on the dancefloor, and probably some questionable wardrobe choices. This is a "babysitter-friendly" event (1pm - 8pm) so we promise to get you home before the last train. :)
Alaska is just a short walk from Waterloo Station, so get your tickets ASAP as this will sell out due to limited tickets being made available.
