Get Plastered!

Students will create two plaster cast hands using plaster infused gauze strips doctors use in making casts for broken bones. This sculpture technique was made popular by artist George Segal in the 60’s and 70’s with his life size people doing everyday things.
The class is limited to 8 students, ages 16 and up. The cost is $40.00 per student. (Please wear old clothes as plaster does not come out of fabric, aprons will be provided but do not insure 100% coverage.)
