Get My Groove Back: Reclaiming Your Sensuality After Trauma (MasterClass)

Get My Groove Back is a course designed to help women survivors of neglect, abuse, harrassment or assault reconnect to their joy-filled energy again; their sensuality / their power / their Goddess within / their real selves. The Groove curriculum has been developed over the past 10 years through best-practice research alongside the real-world lived experience of the class teacher, Reverend Georgia M. Reash (see bio below).

Get My Groove Back is offered with the intention of healing, empowerment and non-judgemental sisterhood building - Get My Groove Back aims to invigorate your vibrancy and self-love. As an enrichment course that emphasizes the remembrance of personal power and joy - Get My Groove Back serves as a support tool in helping participants reconnect to the sensuality within.

Expect POETRY, ART, and EXPERIENTIAL EXERCISES to be a part of this delightful afternoon together. AND - the power of laughter is ALWAYS a part of spending time with Georgia.

And, what about the sex stuff?

Well.... While this course is NOT a class about being sexual - it is about participants understanding the realtionship of sensuality to their sexual wellbeing, and then DEFINING their sexual health goals.

The premise of this course is that sensuality is a full-body vibrancy energy that is shut down we experience traumatic events, especially in childhood. Once that energy is revitalized, it is often the case that a survivor's whole mental framework around their sexual expression changes. With the aim of making sure YOU are comfortable with your own decisions about your sex life, the hope is that you find the peace and contentment you need about how you choose to be sexual.

A GENTLE LOOK AT TRAUMA

Through a comprehensive review of the impact of trauma on self-esteem, sensuality and sexuality - alongside practicals learning and processing tools - participants can begin to create a plan for creating a more vibrant life.

As a trauma-informed course, complete with creative experiential exercises, participants will gain personal insight that enables them to begin their sensuality journey. Although a variety of subjects will be covered, the class is designed to also be FUN and create opportunities for sharing and grouping.

Although the emphasis is reconnecting participants to their authentic self within and remembering their natural existing bliss - the course also offers a space for shared sisterhood, creativity and compassionate presence.
