In an era marked by divisive rhetoric and systemic attacks on women, people of color, immigrants, LGBTQ individuals, and religious minorities, this event serves as a powerful reminder that America’s greatest strength lies in its diversity. By honoring those who have broken barriers and championed inclusivity, we reaffirm our commitment to building a more equitable and inclusive society, demonstrating that we are indeed stronger together when we unite to uplift and support one another. 

Get Konnected! was founded on the premise of inclusion and bringing together professionals, business and civic leaders, and entrepreneurs of all cultures for the purpose of networking, breaking down barriers and making Boston a more welcoming and inclusive city for all .  

Each year on our anniversary we celebrate the importance of inclusion and diversity by honoring and spotlighting individuals and institutions who are not only contributing to the social, civic, cultural and economic fabric of Boston and the Commonwealth but who have demonstrated a commitment to creating a more inclusive and welcoming business climate.
