Get Knotty in the Greenhouse: Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop at Verrill Farm

Learn foundational knots while creating your own plant hanger to take home. No experience is needed. Dasha from Dash of Creativity will guide you step by step, with time to practice, ask questions, and work at your own pace.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or plan a creative morning together. This workshop offers a relaxed way to break up your winter routine, try something new, and connect with other participants.

With plants around you and a project taking shape in your hands, you can slow down and enjoy making something by hand. Tables, chairs, and workshop materials will be ready when you arrive.

Your ticket includes:

• Approximately two hours of guided, beginner-friendly macramé instruction
• Step-by-step demonstrations and individual assistance
• All cord, hardware, and materials needed to make one plant hanger
• Use of the necessary workshop tools
• Your completed macramé plant hanger to take home
• Foundational skills you can use for future macramé projects

Everything is prepared for you in advance. Simply arrive ready to create and enjoy the experience.

Your finished plant hanger will add texture and personality to your home while giving you a creative way to display a favorite houseplant. Hang it near a window, add greenery to a small space, or give it as a thoughtful handmade gift.

Each participant creates their own project, so every plant hanger will have its own character. You will leave with something useful, personal, and made by you.

Want a leafy companion for your new hanger? Verrill Farm will have a selection of houseplants available to browse and purchase that morning through an optional “adopt a houseplant” add-on. Choose a plant that catches your eye and bring home a fresh touch of greenery alongside your handmade project.

Houseplants are optional and purchased separately in-store through Verrill Farm. A plant and pot are not included in the workshop ticket.

Dash of Creativity offers approachable, hands-on creative workshops throughout New Hampshire and New England. Classes help beginners explore fiber arts and other crafts in relaxed, social settings.

Founder and instructor Dasha Randlett provides clear demonstrations, patient guidance, and individual support so participants can feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Whether this is your first fiber arts project or you are exploring another creative interest, you will have support throughout the workshop.

Registration is managed through Eventbrite by Dash of Creativity. Please reserve your workshop ticket in advance so materials can be prepared for you. Optional houseplant purchases are handled separately through Verrill Farm on the morning of the workshop.

Minimum enrollment: A minimum of five participants is required for the workshop to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the workshop may be canceled or rescheduled. If Dash of Creativity cancels the workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund.

Participant cancellations: Refunds are available for cancellations made at least seven days before the workshop. Because materials are purchased, measured, and prepared in advance for each participant, tickets are non-refundable within seven days of the event and cannot be transferred to another person or event.
