USEF’s Get Inspired series welcomes Pradip Sharma Poudel, currently a PhD student in Statistics at The University of Texas at Austin. In this session, Pradip will share his personal journey and reflect on how curiosity--rather than certainty--shaped his academic path. Drawing on his experiences at Swarthmore and Oxford, he will discuss what studying in the U.S. looks like beyond coursework, including mentorship, collaboration, setbacks, and growth. He will offer honest insights into navigating uncertainty and learning to think independently as an international student in the U.S. academic environment.
