Welcome to Get Down and Disco!
Come join us at St Michael’s Parish Church Hall for a night of groovy tunes and funky moves. Dust off your bell bottoms and get ready to boogie down on the dance floor with all your favourite hits from the disco era. Dressing for the era is optional of course.
There's no 'should' about it, 'you will be dancing' to some great tunes from the 70s & 80s and still be home in time for jim jams and TV on a Saturday night! You're welcome to ask the DJ for requests for your favourite songs - George at 'Blue Saturn Entertainments' is providing the DJ set.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS - alcohol or soft drinks - whatever you fancy. Paper cups will be provided. There are NO drinks for sale at the venue. Tickets are £10 in advance or £14 on the door.
Public transport: Frequent buses stop on Park Street, a short walk away
Car parking: Trenchard St multistorey car park is a 5-minute walk away or pay and display on the surrounding roads.
Park Lane is accessed from Old Park Hill, a slip road off Park Row which is on the right at the top of Park Street.
