Gerrish Twp. Flame of Hope Run

Gerrish Twp. Police Department will be hosting their Annual Law Enforcement TORCH RUN on 09-15-2026. The 5K run will begin at Gerrish PD and end at the South Higgins Lake State Park Boat Basin/Pavilion area. Registration begins at 5:00 pm and the event will start promptly at 6:00 pm.
Registration fee is $30 and includes the Annual LETR Shirt. Registration for Dogs is $25 and includes a LETR Dog Leash. Registration is online at www.flameofhopemi.org. Don't forget to check the "Gerrish Township" for the location.
This is a 5K run/walk/bicycle event and all funds raised support Special Olympics Michigan with a portion of our registration fees going directly to our Special Olympics Area 4 Region.
Hot dogs, chips and bottled water will be provided after the event at the finish area and bus transportation will also be provided for participants to return to their vehicles.
Come on out and run, walk or bike alongside our local athletes, community members, LETR volunteers and local law enforcement. Together we can inspire change and make a difference!
