Tilda's days are strictly scheduled: studying, manning the supermarket checkout, looking after her little sister Ida - and on tougher days, their mother too. The three of them live in the bleakest house on Fröhlichstraße, in a small town Tilda can't stand. Her friends have all moved on, off to Amsterdam or Berlin. Only Tilda stayed behind. Because someone has to be there for Ida, bring in money, carry the weight. They have no father to speak off and their mother is lost to alcohol. But then, things start to shi8. A PhD offer in Berlin appears on the horizon, hinLng at a future that finally feels like freedom. And Viktor shows up - the older brother of Ivan, the one Tilda lost five years ago. Viktor, who, just like her, always swims exactly 22 lengths. For a moment, Tilda dares to believe things might finally fall into place. But then, everything at home turns into chaos.
