Der German Betta Contest (GBC) feiert sein 4. Jubiläum und wird dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal vom Verein Betta Helvetia organisiert. Vieles bleibt gleich, einiges ändert sich rein organisatorisch.Wie gewohnt findet die Kampffischbewertungsschau als offizieller Teil der Aqua Expo Dortmund statt. Auch diesmal wieder prominent platziert in der grossen Haupthalle.
Die Aqua Expo ist eine der grössten Aquaristikmessen ganz Europas und bietet ein riesiges Rahmenprogramm. Abgesehen von den zahlreichen Messeständen finden auch diverse Championate statt. Seid dabei und erlebt tolle Aktionen und Angebote rund um das Aquaristik Hobby!
Es gibt wieder tolle, von Hand geschnitzte und bemalte Trophäen zu gewinnen, mitmachen lohnt sich also! Und sowieso, ein langes Wochenende mit Kampffisch-Verrückten kann man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
Bald kann man sich als Teilnehmer für den GBC 2024 registrieren!

Donnerstag 10.10.2024:
Aufbau der Ausstellung
Ab ca. 14 Uhr bis 18 Uhr: Einsetzen der Ausstellungs-Kampffische durch die angereisten Züchter
Nicht für Besucher zugänglich.
Freitag 11.10.2024:
Erster Messetag.
12:00 Uhr Türöffnung
Richten der Ausstellungstiere durch unser internationales Jurorenteam nach IBC Standard.
Direktverkauf von Kampffischen, die nicht an der Bewertungsschau teilnehmen. Beratung rund um das Thema Kampffisch.
18:00 Uhr Türschliessung
Nach Abschluss der Bewertung findet ein gemütliches Abendessen mit der ganzen Gruppe statt
Samstag 12.10.2024:
10:00 Uhr Türöffnung
Direktverkauf von Kampffischen, die nicht an der Bewertungsschau teilnehmen.
Über den Tag verteilt mehrere Auktionen von bewerteten Kampffischen ohne Platzierung.
Beratung rund um das Thema Kampffisch.
Ab ca. 16 Uhr Auktion der Siegerfische.
18:00 Uhr Türschliessung
Geselliges Abendessen und Siegerehrung mit der ganzen Gruppe.
Sonntag 13.10.2024:
10:00 Uhr Türöffnung
Direktverkauf von Kampffischen, die nicht an der Bewertungsschau teilnehmen.
Über den Tag verteilt mehrere Auktionen von bewerteten Kampffischen, inkl. Siegerfischen.
Beratung rund um das Thema Kampffisch.
17:00 Uhr Messeschluss
Einpacken der nicht verkauften Fische durch die Züchter und Abbau der Ausstellung.

The German Betta Contest (GBC) is celebrating its 4th anniversary and is being organized by the Betta Helvetia association for the first time this year. Many things will remain the same, some things will change purely in terms of organization.
As usual, the betta fish competition will take place as an official part of Aqua Expo Dortmund. Once again, it will be prominently placed in the large main hall.
Aqua Expo is one of the largest aquarium trade fairs in Europe and offers a vast program. In addition to the numerous exhibition stands, various championships will also take place. Be there and experience great activities and offers for the aquarium hobby!
Once again, there are great hand-carved and hand-painted trophies to be won, so it's well worth taking part! And anyway, you can't miss out on a long weekend with fighting fish enthusiasts.
Soon you can register as a participant for the GBC 2024!
Program:
Thursday 10.10.2024:
Setting up the show
From approx. 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Benching in of the exhibition fighting fish by the breeders.
Not open to visitors.
Friday 11.10.2024:
First day of the fair.
12:00 pm Door opening
Judging of the show fish by our international team of judges according to IBC standard.
Direct sale of fighting fish not participating in the show. Advice on all aspects of fighting fish.
18:00 Closing time
At the end of the judging there will be a cozy dinner with the whole group
Saturday 12.10.2024:
10:00 a.m. Door opening
Direct sale of fighting fish not participating in the show.
Several auctions of non-winning betta fish throughout the day.
Advice on all aspects of fighting fish.
Auction of the winning fish from approx. 4 pm.
18:00 Closing time
Cozy dinner and award ceremony with the whole group.
Sunday 13.10.2024:
10:00 a.m. Door opening
Direct sale of fighting fish not participating in the show.
Several auctions of show fish throughout the day, including winning fish.
Advice on all aspects of fighting fish.
17:00 Closing time
Packing up of unsold fish by the breeders and dismantling of the exhibition.
