Georgian Picnic: Revolutionary Revels

This year’s Georgian Picnic will have a Revolutionary twist in honor of the 250th anniversary of the US! This is an optional theme, but we encourage guests to wear costumes or bring picnic items that are inspired by the early years of our country.
The picnic will be held at the Colleyville Nature Center and will start at 1:00. Follow the signs on site to the amphitheater where you’ll find plenty of built-in benches in a shaded wooded area. The path to get there is paved nearly the entire way with just the very last portion hard-packed trail. It's easily walkable, but if you're planning to bring a large load of picnic items you may want bring a wagon or cart for easier transport. If it's rainy, we'll use the pavilion just off the parking lot instead.
There are 2 unisex restrooms on site that can be used for changing before/after the picnic.
Lot parking is somewhat limited, but there is additional street parking available just outside the park entrance.
This is a very scenic park and there will be lots of excellent places for photos!
