About this Event

George St. Holiday Market will host a candle-making workshop at our market from 11:45 am in Room 135 at 300 Adelaide St E, Toronto, ON M5A 1N1. Come stop by for vendors and treats, and while you are at it, make a candle with your own customized scent and look!

Join us for a cosy and creative Holiday Candle Making Workshop where you'll learn to craft your own beautiful candles. It can be a great homemade gift, too!

There is free entry into the market, but spots are limited for the workshop — so make sure to get your tickets ASAP!

The Details:

Make and take home: 2 soy candles (7 oz each), 8 oz glass jar, 7 oz candle

Cost: $20 plus HST and Eventbrite fees

Time: 11:45 am – 12:30 pm: 45 minutes of fun and creativity!

Do you love getting hands-on in a DIY project?

Do you love filling a room with delicious scents?

Do you feel burnt out from school and/or work?

If you answered yes to any of these, rekindle your flame and join us for a hands-on “waxy and relax-y” experience where you will be involved in every step of the process of making your own unique candles.

You will customize your fragrance and jar design and be guided through the candle-making process with wick-ed techniques and materials from our team. Throughout the workshop, you will learn about candle safety and best practices to ensure your candle has 15-minute results!

We encourage you to express yourself through your candle design, and by the end of the session, everyone gets their own unique candles, along with newfound skills, fire tips on candle care, and perhaps even a few new sparking connections. It’s a scent-sational experience that will melt away the cold winter season!

Late Policy

Attendees are given a 15-minute grace period. Attendees who arrive at the workshop after 12:00 noon will not be allowed entry, and their tickets will not be refunded at that point.
