George B. Wright Statue 100th Anniversary Celebration

Join us to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the George B. Wright Statue in Wright Park! On July 16, 1926, the statue by Harriet Clark Hanley was dedicated in honor of George B. Wright. A century later, we're gathering to mark the occasion.
The evening will feature historical remarks, special guests, and a few surprises (did someone say 1920s costume contest?!). The Carlisle Band will kick things off with live music starting at 6:45 PM. Treats available. Program begins at 7:15 PM. Free and open to the public!
Special thanks to the Otter Tail County Historical Society, Otter Tail Power Company, and private donors for sponsoring the cleaning of the Wright sculpture leading up to the event.
