About this Event
Join leading experts, developers, and standards groups for GeoPose Summit 2025, a one-day hybrid event exploring the future of geographically-anchored poses in both physical and digital environments. Whether you’re building commercial platforms, designing immersive virtual experiences, or advancing geospatial interoperability, this Summit is your opportunity to dive deep into the OGC GeoPose 1.0 Standard and its real-world applications.
What is GeoPose?A GeoPose describes the location and orientation (pose) of a real or digital object relative to a geographic frame of reference. From augmented reality to autonomous systems, accurately exchanging GeoPose data is essential for seamless real-world and digital integration. The OGC GeoPose 1.0 Standard provides the foundation to make this possible.
Why Attend?
- Learn how to implement GeoPose using open libraries and resources
- See real-world use cases and demos from experts and SWG members
- Get hands-on with running code and tutorials
- Contribute to the future direction of GeoPose in an open, collaborative forum
- Engage with developers, implementers, and standards organizations driving adoption
Agenda Highlights:
- Intro to GeoPose and current use cases
- Hands-on implementation tutorial with running code
- Live demo of the Radiance Field Service
- Roadmap for GeoPose 1.x and beyond
