This walk will reveal the fascinating and unusual geology that has made The Naze such a special place. Mangrove swamps, volcanoes, tropical seas teeming with sharks, arctic tundra, cold seas rich in shellfish, and the time when the River Thames flowed across the Naze! We shall also take in whatever wildlife we may encounter, though sightings cannot be guaranteed. This walk covers about two miles at a gentle pace and will last about two hours. Please note that it involves descending steep steps and the terrain can be muddy and slippery, appropriate footwear is advised.
Booking is essential, £7 adults, £2 children (under 16) toward the conservation efforts of Essex Wildlife Trust.
To book please contact us on 01255 679379, pop into the centre or message our team on Facebook. We look forward to seeing you there.
