In this fun and inspiring class, you'll learn how to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind geode-inspired pieces using resin, pigments, and shimmering crystals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to craft stunning, geode-like artwork.
What You’ll Learn:
Resin Basics: A step-by-step guide on how to mix and prepare resin, ensuring the perfect consistency for your project.
Geode Techniques: How to create layers, swirls, and depth to mimic the natural patterns found in real geodes.
Adding Color: Use pigments, alcohol inks, and metallic paints to create the beautiful and vibrant colors found in geodes.
Textural Effects: Incorporate crushed glass, gold leaf, and faux crystals to give your piece a striking, natural texture.
No prior experience needed, all material will be provided, including PPE. Must be 16+ years of age to attend. NOTE: Resin art takes 8-12 hrs to cure. Pieces CANNOT be taken home after class, but can be picked up later that week. Please arrange pick up time with our host. Resin may cause skin irritation. Please take additional precautions.
