SESSION 1 — Day 1 | Saturday, July 25
Inclusion Starts at the Kitchen Table: Equipping Families to Navigate Education and Policy Systems
Presented by Luna Family Autism | 1.0 CEU | ~1 hour

Families are often the most powerful — and most underutilized — advocates in a child's educational journey. This session examines how the parent-mediated model empowers caregivers to show up confidently in IEP meetings, document progress effectively, and advocate within the systems that shape their child's education. BCBAs will come away with a stronger framework for positioning families as active change agents — not just passive recipients of services — and a clearer sense of how family voice drives lasting change at the systems level.

SESSION 2 — Day 2 | Sunday, July 26
From Home to Hired: How Parent-Mediated Coaching Builds Employment-Ready Skills
Presented by Luna Family Autism | 1.0 CEU | ~1 hour

Workforce inclusion doesn't start with a job application — it starts at home. This session explores how parents can be intentional coaches in developing the soft and functional skills that lead to meaningful employment. You'll gain practical insights into how the parent-mediated model embeds skill-building into daily routines, how families can bridge the gap between home and workplace expectations, and what the outcomes data tells us about early family involvement in transition planning. Transition planning doesn't begin at 16 — and this session makes the case for why the earliest investments at home pay off the most.
