Gentleness - Artist Conversation

Artist Alexandra Cicorschi will be in conversation with Dale Djerassi, Founding Trustee of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. The talk will be moderated by Emma Peat, Director of Education Programming at NAMI San Francisco (National Alliance on Mental Illness San Francisco).

The artworks in the Gentleness exhibition were inspired by drawings made by the artist's mother, who died by suicide in 2011. This conversation aims to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide, open an honest dialogue, and build greater empathy around mental health.
